Our 40 photos that will make you want to go to Phuket.
Like this very old saying “picture speaks a thousands words”, we decide to tell our Phuket story mainly by photos. From the amazing hotel Point Yamu by COMO to the beautiful views and breathtaking places to explore around Phuket.
If you would like to explore beautiful nature, this area of Thailand is the place to be.
Phuket offers many spectacular holiday sights, from crystal clear lagoons to beautiful sunsets. There is wide range of transport from Tuk-tuks, taxis, buses to long tails boats or speed boats.
Big Buddha is one of the most important and revered landmarks on the island. The huge image sits on top of the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata and, at 45 metres tall, can be seen from as far away as Phuket Town and Karon Beach.
Phuket’s south coast offers its most popular beaches and islands. Maya Bay has become the main tourist attraction of Phi Phi since The Beach was filmed here in 1999. It was always very popular, even before the film. These days people from around the world who haven’t even heard of Phi Phi have certainly heard of Maya Bay.
Snorkeling or Diving is a must to do in Phuket. It’s one of the cheapest place to do it in the world and the underwater world was so beautiful. When we were snorkeling and feeding these colorful fish with bananas!
Another thing which you can find in Thailand are wild animals. We didn’t Ride elephants, but we were happy to feed them. It was a lovely experience to connect with these massive animals.
Apart of feeding animals we really enjoyed Thai kitchen ourselves. Loads of tropical fruit, everything very refreshing and rich in flavors. One of the best surprises was rice served in halves of pineapple. It was just delicious.
We loved staying in Phuket! Our amazing hotel Como Point Yamu @comohotels had a private beach which you were only able to get to by boat! It takes about 30 mins to get to this small island very everything looked so tropical.
We would love to come back and stay in the same place. Everything such as food, service, pools and decoration of the hotel was on the highest standard.
After this amazing 40 photos I think you can understand why we call Phuket a paradise.
Before visiting this place we have spent 24 hours in Bangkok and we did a post about it too.
